Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (0-18) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 124-57 loss to sixth ranked BC Rakvere (8-9) in Rakvere. The game without a history. BC Rakvere led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Audentese/N.'s 38. BC Rakvere forced 26 Audentese/N. turnovers and outrebounded them 45-20 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for BC Rakvere especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Audentese/N.'s players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Janari Joesaar (198-93, college: UTRGV) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (on 17-of-22 shooting from the field). Latvian guard Reinis Strupovics (190-87) contributed with 25 points and 6 steals for the winners. Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. Kregor Hermet (204-97) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Ron-Arnar Pehka (185-98) added 12 points in the effort for Audentese/N.Audentese/N.'s coach Indrek Visnapuu gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. BC Rakvere moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Parnu. Audentese/N. at the other side still closes the standings. BC Rakvere will play against higher ranked TLU/Kalev (#4) in Tallinn in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Audentese/N. will play on the road against Rapla (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
