Very important is a road loss of second ranked Melilla Baloncesto (15-6) against eighth ranked Castello (11-10) on Friday night. Visiting Melilla Baloncesto was defeated by Castello in a tough game in Castellon 73-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Melilla Baloncesto. Melilla Baloncesto was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 45-32 second half run of Castello. They also forced 25 Melilla Baloncesto turnovers. American-Nigerian forward Zimmy Nwogbo (201-91, college: Cedarville, agency: Duran International) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and point guard Joan Faner (176-90) chipped in 15 points and 4 steals.
