NBL round 19 caused change at the leadership position. Tenth defeat of league's leader United (18-10) against fourth ranked New Zealand Breakers (16-12) 100-63 was the most important game of the last round. The game without a history. New Zealand Breakers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Cedric Jackson (191-86, college: Cleveland St.) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Kyle Adnam (186-93) answered with 16 points and American guard Stephen Holt (193-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 6 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for United. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. New Zealand Breakers have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 16-12 record. United at the other side still keeps top position with ten games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Wildcats who have the same record.
