Regular Season Round 17: KK Split - GKK Sibenik 100-80

The game between third ranked GKK Sibenik (10-5) and fourth ranked KK Split (11-5) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. GKK Sibenik was crushed by KK Split in Split 100-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GKK Sibenik. The game was mostly controlled by KK Split. GKK Sibenik managed to win fourth quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KK Split have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. GKK Sibenik at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. KK Split are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Ribola Kastela (#11) in Kastela Sucurac in the next round and are hoping to win another game. GKK Sibenik will play at home against the league's leader KK Zagreb (#1) and is hoping to win this game.
