Second Stage Round 4: Prinemanye - Vitebsk 59-85

The game in Grodno supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Vitebsk (11-7) played at the court of 6th ranked Prinemanye (5-13). Vitebsk smashed Prinemanye 85-59 on Friday. Vitebsk dominated on the defensive end, holding Prinemanye to just 5 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Prinemanye's 28. They outrebounded Prinemanye 53-30 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) who added 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Vitebsk players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Dmitriy Kuratnik (192-97) scored 12 points. Vitebsk have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 11-7 record. Loser Prinemanye keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with BGEU-RCOR. Vitebsk will meet BGEU-RCOR (#7) in the next round. Prinemanye will play against GOCOR-Sozh in Gomel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
