Regular Season Round 21: Bottegone - Rimini 72-76

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Rimini (10-11) won against on the road 14th ranked Bottegone (6-15) 76-72 on Saturday. Bottegone was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Lorenzo Panzini (188-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) stepped up and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and naturalized Argentinian guard Adrian Ignacio Chiera (190-94, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Rimini players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Fiorello Toppo (198-80) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and point guard Michele Magini (182-88) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Rimini moved-up to tenth place in B. Loser Bottegone dropped to the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Rimini will face Livorno (#13) at home in the next round. Bottegone will play against Trecate and hope to win that game.
