Eighth-ranked Kings (6-22) were very close to win a game against seventh ranked Townsville Crocodiles (11-17) in Wulguru. Townsville Crocodiles managed to secure only three-point victory 126-123. However their fans expected easier game. Townsville Crocodiles had a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Kings helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Egyptian-American center Omar Samhan (211-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jordair Jett (188-91, college: St.Louis) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Townsville Crocodiles' coach Shawn Dennis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American swingman Josh Childress (203-83, college: Stanford) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and the former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) added 32 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side.
