Regular Season Round 19: Basket Pila - Domino Inowr. 82-72

There was an upset when higher ranked Domino Inowr. (8-10) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Basket Pila (4-13) 82-72 on Saturday. Basket Pila outrebounded Domino Inowr. 36-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a very good performance for Kamil Michalski (200-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Maciej Adamkiewicz (199-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five Basket Pila players scored in double figures. Forward Marcin Majer (199-88) answered with 21 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Mateusz Marciniak (190-90) added 17 points in the effort for Domino Inowr.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Basket Pila maintains eleventh place in Group A with 4-13 record. Newly promoted Domino Inowr. keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Basket Pila will face higher ranked Itago Gdynia (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
