Regular Season Round 18: AEC Collblanc - Igualada 85-66

The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers Igualada's (10-8) road loss to second ranked AEC Collblanc (12-6) in L´Hospitalet 66-85 on Saturday. AEC Collblanc looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for power forward Javi Rodriguez (202-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Lluis Jacas (198-90) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four AEC Collblanc players scored in double figures. Center Eduard Tejero (195-92) replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and forward Albert Del Hoyo (192-92) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Igualada. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. AEC Collblanc maintains second position in Group C-B with 12-6 record having six points less than leader L'Hospitalet. Newly promoted Igualada keeps the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
