Second Stage Round 6: Hogsbo - LF Future 100-72

Very important is a road loss of third ranked LF Future (7-3) against fourth ranked Hogsbo (5-3) on Saturday night. Visiting LF Future was crushed by Hogsbo in Goteborg 100-72. The game without a history. Hogsbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 32. Hogsbo forced 26 LF Future turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward R.J. Slawson (206-92, college: Jacksonville) notched 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Lucas Brehm (-91) supported him with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) did not help to save the game for LF Future. Forward Jonathan Larsson (190-91) added 13 points and 4 steals. Five Hogsbo and four LF Future players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Hogsbo maintains fourth position in Superettan with 5-3 record. LF Future at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
