Regular Season Round 21: Moncalieri - Padova 56-65

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Padova (8-13) won against on the road 16th ranked Moncalieri (3-18) 65-56 on Saturday. Forward Enrico Crosato (194-85) stepped up and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Dominican guard Jean Carlos Canelo (188-89) chipped in 7 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Tommaso Baldasso (194-98) with 16 points and the former international power forward Francesco Conti (205-83) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Padova have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place in B. Moncalieri at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixteenth position with 18 games lost. Padova will face league's leader Udine APU on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Moncalieri will play against Vicenza (#7) and hope to win that game.
