Regular Season Round 21: Roma E-basket - Empoli 71-61

Date: February 13, 2016
No shocking result in a game when first ranked Roma E-basket (19-2) won against at home 6th ranked Empoli (12-9) 71-61 on Saturday. Naturalized Argentinian center Marcelo Dip (205-84, agency: Players Group) stepped up and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and the former international swingman Alex Righetti (198-77, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 18 points and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was forward Filippo Mascagni (195-93) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and guard Andrea Scali (194-94) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Roma E-basket maintains first place in B with 19-2 record, which they share with Udine APU. Loser Empoli dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Roma E-basket will face Scauri (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Empoli will play against Isernia and hope to win that game.
