Regular Season Round 27: Centrum - Tromso 107-99

The game between Top Four teams took place in Oslo. Second ranked host Centrum (13-4) defeated 3rd placed Tromso (11-6) 107-99. Tromso trailed by 18 points after 3 quarters before a 33-23 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 99-107 at the end of the game. Centrum shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Harald Frey (182-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 assists. Forward Roy Nwachukwu (196-90, college: Seminole St.) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds. Centrum's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Casiem Drummond (208-88, college: Georgetown, KY) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and Bulgarian guard Kiril Raykov (192-87) scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Centrum have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-4 record having just three points less than leader Ammerud Bskt. Tromso at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Kongsberg. Centrum are looking forward to face Baerum Basket (#6) in Bekkestua in the next round. Tromso will have a break next round.
