Second Stage Round 6: KFUM Blackeberg - BG Lulea 65-80

There was a small surprise in Vallingby where sixth ranked BG Lulea (6-11) defeated one of their biggest challengers KFUM Blackeberg (5-6) 80-65 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 43-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BG Lulea outrebounded KFUM Blackeberg 47-29 including a 37-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. KFUM Blackeberg was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Jonatan Arvidsson (180-98) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Theodore Silveira Ovrebo (192-97) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. BG Lulea's coach Fredrik Joulamo used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Brayan Angulo (-94) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and Ramon Habtezghi added 16 points and 6 steals respectively. BG Lulea moved-up to fourth place in BEHN forts. Loser KFUM Blackeberg dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. BG Lulea will have a break next round. KFUM Blackeberg will play at home against the league's leader Alvik Basket (#1) and hope to win that game.
