No shocking result in a game when top-ranked L'Hospitalet (18-0) crushed 8th ranked Pardinyes-L. (6-12) in Lleida 90-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by L'Hospitalet. Pardinyes-L. was better in fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. L'Hospitalet dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Pardinyes-L.'s 24 and made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game, while Pardinyes-L. only scored three points from the stripe. It was a good game for naturalized Dominican power forward Michel Acosta (201-92) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Center Eduard Arques (202-94) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Pol Domingo (198-90) replied with 7 points and 6 rebounds and guard Sergi Ruiz (190-87) added 8 points in the effort for Pardinyes-L.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. L'Hospitalet have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group C-B with 18-0 record. Pardinyes-L. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
