Regular Season Round 16: Tarbes - CFBB 71-49

LF2 top team - Tarbes (14-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked CFBB (1-15) 71-49. The game without a history. Tarbes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 30. Tarbes forced 26 CFBB turnovers. Strangely CFBB outrebounded Tarbes 37-19 including a 24-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international center Elodie Bertal (191-84) who scored that evening 17 points and 6 rebounds and American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson, agency: Regeneracom Sports) supported her with 17 points. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by center Alexia Chartereau (189-98) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Swingman Tima Pouye (176-99) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarbes have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-1 record. CFBB lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Tarbes will play against SIG (#5) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round. CFBB will play at home against Limoges (#8) to get more than just one victory in their record.
