Another exciting game took place in Dublin where fourth ranked Meteors (9-5) edged by three points 5th ranked 11890 Killester (8-6) 75-72. Meteors brought some defensive toughness making 13 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Emily Leer (188-92, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 blocks. Beth Meany (168-90) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American guard Raeshel Contreras (170, college: S.Dakota) replied with 27 points and the former international guard Aishling Sullivan (175-88) added 10 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals in the effort for 11890 Killester. Meteors have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-5 record. 11890 Killester at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost.
