Date: February 14, 2016
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Perth Wildcats as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (United) loss. Perth Wildcats defeated 5th ranked Adelaide 36ers at home 100-84. Adelaide 36ers were ahead by 8 points at the halftime before a 52-28 second half run of Perth Wildcats. Adelaide 36ers were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international center Tom Jervis (211-87, college: Troy) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Jermaine Beal (191-87, college: Vanderbilt) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Perth Wildcats players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Mitch Creek (195-92) responded with 17 points (made all of his seven free throws) and international guard Adam Gibson (188-86) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with United. Adelaide 36ers lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth place with 14 games lost.
