No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Ortona (14-7) won against on the road 16th ranked Mola (4-17) 98-91 on Sunday. Ortona shot 65.5 percent from the field and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Center Arcangelo Leo (203-81) stepped up and scored 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winners and point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (185-87) chipped in 11 points. The best for the losing side was Nicola Bastone (195-92) with 28 points and forward Emanuele Musci (200-92) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ortona moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Crema. Loser Mola keeps the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. Ortona will face Vasto (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mola will play against Falconara (#3) and hope to win that game.
