Second Stage Round 6: Boras II - Huddinge 88-82

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Boras II and 7th ranked Huddinge had identical 7-7 record. This time Boras II used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Huddinge 88-82 on Sunday night. Huddinge was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Strangely Huddinge outrebounded Boras II 46-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward John Brandmark (200-97) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Robin Alm (184-93) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Samme Unger (-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds and Adam Fontaine (-95) added 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boras II (8-7) moved-up to fifth place in BEHS forts. Loser Huddinge keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Boras II will face higher ranked Wetterbygden (#4) in Huskvarna in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Huddinge will play at home against Lobas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
