Sixth-ranked Comunicaciones (8-18) gave a tough game to fourth ranked La Union (14-13) in Mercedes. The visitors from Colon managed to secure only three-point victory 92-89. However their fans expected easier game. La Union outrebounded Comunicaciones 40-29 including 31 on the defensive glass.
