Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Treviglio (11-10) defeated at home 13th ranked Aurora Bsk Jesi (7-14) 81-65 on Sunday. Guard Tommaso Marino (192-86) stepped up and scored 19 points and 9 assists for the winners and the former international center Emanuele Rossi (206-82) chipped in 16 points and 14 rebounds. Five Treviglio players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Josh Greene (183-92, college: CS Northridge) with 17 points and power forward Marco Maganza (204-91) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. Aurora Bsk Jesi's coach Maurizio Lasi rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Treviglio moved-up to eighth place in A2. Aurora Bsk Jesi at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Treviglio will face higher ranked Mantovana (#3) in Mirandola in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aurora Bsk Jesi will play at home against Bondi Ferrara (#11) and hope to win that game.
