Very expected game in Tehran where 7th ranked Samen (10-16) was defeated by second ranked Chemidor (19-6) 81-73. The winners were led by the former international point guard Sajjad Mashayekhi (180-94) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 rebounds and Ivorian-French Herve Toure (205-82) supported him with 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Even 22 points and 8 rebounds by Lithuanian power forward Povilas Cukinas (210-83) did not help to save the game for Samen. The former international forward Nima Bakhshi (198-89) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Four Samen players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Chemidor have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Chemidor maintains second position with 19-6 record having four points less than leader Petrochimi. Samen at the other side keeps the seventh place with 16 games lost.
