Regular Season Round 21: Campli - San Severo 65-62

The most exciting game of round 21 in the Serie B took place in Campli. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-best San Severo (17-4) to fourth ranked Campli (16-5) 65-62 on Sunday evening. Campli dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to San Severo's 20. They outrebounded San Severo 41-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best for the losing side was power forward Luca Marmugi (202-84) with 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Antonello Ricci (190-92) scored 14 points. Newly promoted Campli maintains fourth place in B with 16-5 record. San Severo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Bergamo. Campli are looking forward to face Valmontone (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Severo will play against Martina Franca (#15) and is hoping to win this game.
