The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Lighthouse TR's (10-11) home loss to sixth ranked FCM Ferentino (12-9) 90-93 on Sunday. FCM Ferentino shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. American point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) stepped up and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American swingman Stan Okoye (197-91, college: VMI) with 24 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Keddric Mays (183-84) scored 23 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. FCM Ferentino moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Lighthouse TR dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. FCM Ferentino will face league's second-placed Agrigento at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lighthouse TR will play against Casalpusterlengo (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
