Second Stage Round 6: IK Eos - LF Future 87-89

Seventh-ranked IK Eos (1-6) made lots of trouble for third ranked LF Future (7-3) in Lund. The visitors from Lulea managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. It was a good game for swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Jonathan Larsson (190-91) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) replied with 25 points and 7 assists and center David Hult (204-89) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for IK Eos. Five LF Future and four IK Eos players scored in double figures. IK Eos' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. LF Future moved-up to second place in Superettan. IK Eos at the other side keep the seventh position with six games lost. LF Future will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. IK Eos will play at home against the league's leader Solna Branten (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
