Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Trecate (0-21) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Cecina (15-6) 84-59 on Sunday. Cecina dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Trecate's 22. Cecina forced 22 Trecate turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Devil Medizza (198-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Francesco Fratto (200-91) chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Cecina will face Valsesia (#7) on the road in the next round. Trecate will play against Bottegone (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
