Regular Season Round 21: Tortona - Latina Basket 74-62

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Tortona (13-8) beat at home 9th ranked Latina Basket (10-11) 74-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Tortona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Tortona had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and forward Sebastiano Bianchi (195-92) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tortona players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Alessandro Grande (185-94) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Lorenzo Uglietti (190-94) scored 11 points. Tortona moved-up to third place in A2. Loser Latina Basket dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Tortona will face La Briosa BRC (#16) in Barcellona in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Latina Basket will play at home against the league's leader Scafati (#1) and hope to win that game.
