Very expected game in Zaragoza where 10th ranked CREF Hola (7-12) was defeated by fourth ranked Mann Filter (13-6) 67-55 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Mann Filter. CREF Hola was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CREF Hola 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Bulgarian Jaklin Zlatanova (190-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds. Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) helped adding 26 points. At the losing side American forward Lyndra Weaver (185-87, college: Virginia) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import center Shakeya Leary (189-90, college: Syracuse) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Mann Filter moved-up to third place, which they share with Girona. Newly promoted CREF Hola keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. Mann Filter will face Cadi La Seu (#5) in Seu D'urgell in the next round. CREF Hola will play at home against the league's leader Perfumerias Avenida (#1) and hope to win that game.
