No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Real Madrid (16-4) defeated at home bottom-ranked Gipuzkoa (4-16) 94-88 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Gipuzkoa trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 19-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 88-94 at the end of the game. Real Madrid shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was international Sergio Llull (190-87) who scored 27 points and 8 assists. Real Madrid will face league's leader Valencia Basket on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
