Regular Season Round 38: Hispano Am. - Platense 60-74

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Hispano Am. (15-12) in Rio Gallegos. Hosts were defeated by CA Platense (20-8) 74-60. It looked good early as Hispano Am. took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then CA Platense had a 21-15 second period charge getting the lead and Hispano Am. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-74. American Antwaine Wiggins (200-88, college: Charleston) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Vazquez Facundo contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five CA Platense players scored in double figures. American forward Terry Martin Jr. (199-89, college: Wofford) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Gaston Morales (180-79) added 9 points in the effort for Hispano Am.CA Platense have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Newly promoted CA Platense maintains first position with 20-8 record which they share with defeated Hispano Am. Hispano Am. lost fourth consecutive game. They still keep top place with 12 games lost.
