Bottom-ranked CFBB (0-23) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 23th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Quimper UJAP (11-11) 90-53 on Tuesday evening. The game without a history. Quimper UJAP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.7 percent from the field. Quimper UJAP looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by CFBB's players. Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) fired 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) chipped in 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Burke is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Quimper UJAP's coach Laurent Foirest felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Yanik Blanc (184-99) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Ivan Fevrier (200-99) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Quimper UJAP have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with La Rochelle and Angers BC. Loser CFBB still closes the standings. Quimper UJAP will meet Mulhouse Basket (#13) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. CFBB will play against Lourdes-Tarbes (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
