Second Stage Round 6: Victoria - BrGU 92-53

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked BrGU COR Victoria's (4-15) road loss to seventh ranked Victoria (7-15) in Grodno 53-92. The game without a history. Victoria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to BrGU COR Victoria's 28. They also forced 22 BrGU COR Victoria turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Arina Masko (175-99) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Mariya Vasilevko (183-99) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Victoria's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Maryia Rashchenia (185-92) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks and guard Katsiaryna Shastsilouskaya (179-93) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Victoria maintains seventh position with 7-15 record. BrGU COR Victoria lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 15 games lost. Victoria's next round opponent will be Polotsk (#9) at home. BrGU COR Victoria will play against Kameya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
