No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Boras II (10-7) crushed at home 9th ranked Brahe Basket (1-13) 97-41 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Boras II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brahe Basket to just 6 points in first quarter. Boras II dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Brahe Basket's 20. Boras II forced 31 Brahe Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 45-22 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Boras II looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Brahe Basket's players. Quite impressive performance for forward John Brandmark (200-97) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Robin Alm (184-93) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Boras II players scored in double figures. Jordanian forward Ali Mamoun (185-83) answered with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Karl Ble Cato (-94) added 10 points in the effort for Brahe Basket. Boras II have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in BEHS forts. Brahe Basket lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Boras II will face Huddinge (#6) at home in the next round. Brahe Basket will play against Lobas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
