Everything went according to plan when second ranked Orzinuovi GaGa (19-2) outleveled at home 8th ranked Desio (11-11) 70-50 on Wednesday. The former international power forward Riccardo Perego (202-81) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Antonio Ruggiero (190-81, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 13 points. Forward Andrea Negri (193-88) produced 14 points and center Filippo Politi (205-80) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Desio's coach Davide Villa rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Orzinuovi GaGa have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in B with 19-2 record having just one point less than leader Forli. Loser Desio keeps the eighth place with 11 games lost. Orzinuovi GaGa will face Moncalieri (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Desio will play against Fiorentina (#13) and hope to win that game.
