Regular Season Round 24: SKK Siedlce - Astoria Bydg. 87-99

Rather expected game when 10th ranked SKK Siedlce (9-15) lost at home to seventh ranked Astoria Bydg. (12-11) 99-87 on Wednesday. Astoria Bydg. made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by swingman Hubert Mazur (190-84, agency: Promotex) who scored that evening 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Piotr Robak (194-91) supported him with 30 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Even 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by point guard Michal Musijowski (185-89) did not help to save the game for SKK Siedlce. Center Rafal Rajewicz (204-88, agency: Promotex) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. SKK Siedlce's coach Teohar Mollov rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Astoria Bydg. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 12-11 record. Loser SKK Siedlce dropped to the eleventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Spojnia. Astoria Bydg. will meet Nysa Klodzko (#10) in the next round. SKK Siedlce will play against Znicz Basket in Pruszkow and hope to secure a win.
