Top ranked Forli (19-3) recorded its third loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by sixth ranked Cento (15-7) 72-71. Power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Daniele Demartini (187-84, agency: Players Group) chipped in 17 points. Guard Michele Ferri (191-85) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Paolo Rotondo (204-89, agency: Players Group) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Cento and five Forli players scored in double figures. Cento moved-up to third place in B. Forli at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Cento are looking forward to face San Miniato (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Forli will play against Monsummano (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
