There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Omegna (8-14) defeated on the road higher ranked Mens Sana Siena (13-9) 91-80 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 26-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Omegna dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Mens Sana Siena's 44. They outrebounded Mens Sana Siena 38-27 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds.
