Regular Season Round 19: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - Polonia W-wa 81-61

Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (6-12) outplayed 12th ranked Polonia W-wa (3-16) in Bielsk Podlaski 81-61 on Wednesday. Tur Bielsk Pdl. dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Polonia W-wa's 38. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 20 Polonia W-wa turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Polonia W-wa's players. It was a very good performance for forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Daniel Nieporedzki (192-94) answered with 23 points and Daniel Olszewski (200-94) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Polonia W-wa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Tur Bielsk Pdl. maintains tenth place in Group B with 6-12 record. Polonia W-wa lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face league's second-placed AZS UMCS in Lublin in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Polonia W-wa will play at home against Start Lublin II (#9) and hope to win that game.
