Regular Season Round 22: Valmontone - Campli 78-90

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Campli (17-5) won against on the road 13th ranked Valmontone (6-16) 90-78 on Thursday. Campli forced 20 Valmontone turnovers. Valmontone was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. David Petrucci (188-85) fired 19 points for the winners. Forward Bruno Duranti (197-93) chipped in 14 points. Five Campli players scored in double figures. Swingman Dario Scodavolpe (193-83) produced 29 points and the former international power forward Luca Bisconti (206-82) added 17 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Campli maintains fourth position in B with 17-5 record. Valmontone at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 16 games lost. Campli will face Ortona (#5) at home in the next round. Valmontone will play against Bisceglie (#10) and hope to win that game.
