Very important is a road loss of second ranked Agrigento (14-8) against sixth ranked FCM Ferentino (13-9) on Thursday night. Visiting Agrigento was defeated by FCM Ferentino in a tough game in Ferentino 73-82. FCM Ferentino shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. American point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Tommaso Raspino (200-89, agency: Players Group) chipped in 12 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Andrea Saccaggi (191-89) responded with 19 points and American swingman Kelvin Martin (195-89, college: Charleston So.) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. FCM Ferentino moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Agrigento keeps the second position with eight games lost. FCM Ferentino will meet La Briosa BRC (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Agrigento will play against Rieti (#13) and hope to secure a win.
