Regular Season Round 22: Scauri - Roma E-basket 66-72

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Roma E-basket (20-2) defeated on the road 8th ranked Scauri (12-10) 72-66 on Thursday. They outrebounded Scauri 43-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. Naturalized Argentinian center Marcelo Dip (205-84, agency: Players Group) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian forward Duilio Birindelli (200-84) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Joshua Giammo' (190-93) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Roma E-basket maintains first position in B with 20-2 record, which they share with Udine APU. Newly promoted Scauri keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. Roma E-basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Roma Roma S.Azzurra.
