There was a minor upset when higher ranked Caceres Basket (11-11) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked FC Barcelona II (11-11) 75-69 on Friday. Caceres Basket trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 24-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-75 at the end of the game. Czech Lubos Barton (202-80, college: Valparaiso) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Guyanese-Serbian guard Stefan Peno (195-97) chipped in 9 points and 5 assists during the contest. FC Barcelona II's coach Alfredo Julbe used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
