The game in Riga supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Limbazi (8-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Pardaguava (4-9). Limbazi smashed Pardaguava 89-61. The game without a history. Limbazi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Limbazi outrebounded Pardaguava 47-32 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Rolands Brencs (197-86) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. Point guard Armands Osins (190-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Limbazi players scored in double figures. Guard Karlis Vecens (185-95) replied with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Ricards Melderis (188-96) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Pardaguava. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Limbazi have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Turiba. Pardaguava lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Livani and Jekabpils II. Limbazi will play against Livani (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pardaguava will play against Jekabpils II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
