Regular Season Round 21: Camaguey - Artemisa 60-70

Another exciting game was played in Camaguey between seventh ranked Los Toros and 4th placed Tigres where Los Toros (7-12) won against Tigres (7-11) on the road 70-60. Los Toros forced 25 Tigres turnovers. It was a good game for the former international center Humberto Garcia (203-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. The former international point guard Osmel Oliva (178-87) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Los Toros' coach Raudel Balaguer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Salvadorean Yordanis Jaca answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Yoanqui Mersia added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Tigres. Los Toros moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pinar del Rio. Tigres lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Los Toros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tigres will play again at home against Los Toros (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
