There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Hapoel Holon (6-14) beat on the road higher ranked Hapoel Eilat (9-11) 87-80 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 7 points. Hapoel Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Hapoel Eilat was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was naturalized American power forward Isaac Rosefelt (204-85, college: St.Thomas) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. American forward Will Clyburn (201-90, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 32 points and 5 rebounds. Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (210-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds and American Khalif Wyatt (193-91, college: Temple) added 15 points and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the hosts. Four Hapoel Eilat players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Maccabi K/G. Hapoel Eilat at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Hapoel Holon will face higher ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
