Regular Season Round 20: AZS AGH Alstom - AZS AWF M. II 93-50

No shocking result in a game in Krakow where first ranked AZS AGH Alstom (18-2) outleveled 10th ranked AZS AWF M. II (6-14) 93-50 on Saturday. AZS AGH Alstom forced 20 AZS AWF M. II turnovers and outrebounded them 44-24 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. AZS AGH Alstom looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by AZS AWF M. II's players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Bartlomiej Podworski (205-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and guard Robert Kolka (184-93) who added 13 points, 5 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four AZS AGH Alstom players scored in double figures. Center Mateusz Mucha (198-95) responded with 9 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Maciej Dalak (189-95) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AZS AGH Alstom have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group C with 18-2 record. Loser AZS AWF M. II dropped to the eleventh place with 14 games lost. AZS AGH Alstom will face Pogon RS (#8) in Ruda Slaska in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS AWF M. II will play at home against MKS DG 2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
