The game in Dublin was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Killester (11-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Swords Thunder (8-8). Killester managed to secure a 7-point victory 104-97. Killester shot 60.4 percent from the field and made 33-of-42 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Killester outrebounded Swords Thunder 42-31 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Swords Thunder was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American forward Jermaine Turner (195-74, college: Dowling) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and international guard Paul Dick (193-91, college: Franklin Pierce, agency: Duran International) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Dan Nelms (206, college: Davidson) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Isaac Westbrooks (189-85) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Four Killester and five Swords Thunder players scored in double figures. Killester have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-4 record having just two points less than leader Templeogue. Swords Thunder at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Killester's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Dublin to the arena Eanna.
