Regular Season Round 20: Gimbasket WRC - Otmuchow 64-63

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Wroclaw where 10th ranked Otmuchow (6-14) was edged by eleventh ranked Gimbasket WRC (4-16) 64-63 on Saturday. Gimbasket WRC forced 19 Otmuchow turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jakub Wajerowski (198-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) who added 13 points during the contest. Krzysztof Wilk (201-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Artur Barycza (195-86) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Gimbasket WRC maintains eleventh position in Group D with 4-16 record. Newly promoted Otmuchow keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. Gimbasket WRC will face higher ranked Olesnica (#8) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
