Alba Chorzow's road win over one of their biggest challengers AZS PS Gliwice 84-70 was very exciting. Alba Chorzow made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 AZS PS Gliwice turnovers. AZS PS Gliwice was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Marcin Weselak (204-79) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds and guard Lukasz Wojcik (189-84) who added 25 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Daniel Pelka (193-80) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Artur Donerstag (180-91) scored 16 points. AZS PS Gliwice's coach Sylwester Walczuk let to play twelve players saving starting five for next games. Alba Chorzow (10-10) moved-up to fifth place in Group C, which they share with AZS PCz and Zaglebie. Newly promoted AZS PS Gliwice keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Alba Chorzow will face Wisla Krakow (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. AZS PS Gliwice will play against the league's second-placed Polonia Bytom (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
